About Our Exhibition
We are a group of Palomar College students that are curating this exhibition at the California Center For The Arts, Escondido.
The exhibition, Embracing the Mystery, is a juried gallery that dives headfirst into the scary and unknown aspects of life. Life is a mystery; the only thing that is tangible and real is the ever changing present moment. What is the past? What is the future? What is consciousness? What are dreams? This show is dedicated to exploring and facing the fascinating, and oftentimes frightening, questions about this mystical experience we call life.
We are inviting all San Diego area college students working in photo, video, painting, drawing or any other 2D mediums to submit.

Opening Night
June 13, 2025
Join us for the opening reception of Embracing the Mystery on June 13, 2025, and immerse yourself in an evening of creativity, connection, and celebration. This curated exhibition showcases a diverse collection of photography, videography, drawings, and paintings, each piece reflecting the magic of curiosity, imagination, and the unknown.
Live Music & Food
The night will come alive with live music from 6 PM – 9 PM, featuring an eclectic mix of sounds:
🎵 Sounds Naste & Trevor Kelly – Spinning Bass, Dub, House, and DnB to set the vibe.
🎸 No Avail – Bringing Psychedelic Rock energy to the space.
In addition to the music, guests can indulge in a selection of delicious food and refreshing beverages. Enjoy light appetizers, specialty drinks, desserts, and more.
Through this exhibition, we invite you to embrace uncertainty, dream without limits, and see the world through a lens of wonder. We can’t wait to share this unforgettable experience with you.

Are you interested in showcasing your work at our art gallery Embracing the Mystery? We’re inviting artists to submit their photography, videography, drawings, and paintings for a chance to be featured in our exhibition at the California Center for the Arts, Escondido this June.
If your art aligns with our theme—exploring the beauty of the unknown—we’d love to see it! Each artist may submit up to five pieces, and the submission deadline is April 13, 2025.
